(Holy Spirit & The Father P1) - Free Indeed - Abundant Living After Abuse

It seems as if we celebrated Christmas just yesterday when in fact, it has been only three months have passed. And although Christmas was not the actual time when Jesus was really born, I don’t want to focus on dates but rather, I want to focus on the event. We know that Jesus was born, he lived and then he was murdered. It is not like Jesus did not have a clue that he was going to go through these things, but what is fascinating is that he knew and he still went through with his crucifixion for you and for me.

Jesus knew who he was and for a great number of individuals, they too became familiar as to who Jesus was. The Bible states “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

Unto us a child is born, this meant unto humanity for all universe to see this child was born. Then it says unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder. The next sentence says it all, he shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. The following two names I will be focusing on…The mighty God and the everlasting Father. How does one get to understand the Father? The answer is through the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

The Godhead for many is difficult to understand and since I am not a theological student, I will do my best to show you the Holy Spirit & Father relationship and how the Spirit leads us to Christ who then leads us to the Father. The Bible says “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6

No one comes to the Father, but only through Christ. How is this possible? The Holy Spirit’s presence is first displayed at Creation, and then we don’t hear much about the Holy Spirit until after the Crucifixion when Jesus said that He must go so that the Comforter may come. The Comforter signifies the Holy Spirit.

The father Holy Spirit connection. When we see a sunset, a child being born, a butterfly fluttering delicately on a rose, a baby's smile or a kind gesture from a total stranger we can see the inspiration is drawn from the Holy Spirit. The Father's Creation fingerprint that leads us to a spiritual awakening that is honed through the Holy Spirit.

The Father Created humanity, he then sent His Son to die for a rogue planet and then Jesus sent the Comforter. That is the spiritual connection to the Father.
