(Rebellion & The Holy Spirit P3) - Free Indeed - Abundant Living After Abuse

Previous post I spoke about the formula and how babies are born into sin. With that said, take a moment to see toddlers in action at a birthday party, daycare or even at your children’s Bible school. You would be amazed to see how they interact with each other. For example when Bobby wants a toy that Sarah is playing with, he may assume that he can have it and may try to take it away from Sarah. At that point what would a responsible parent do? Teach Bobby to take turns right? Bobby’s nature is to take whatever he wants because that is what he thinks by nature. Well, let say that Bobby does not have a responsible parent and gives Bobby everything he ever wanted regardless of who it hurts. Bobby will one day become an adult and chances are that Bobby might not have good friends around him because Bobby is a jerk. We know that a child has to be taught and that sin is predominant in the human lifespan. As for little Bobby, it does not make Bobby a bad child, it is what it is…sin nature “We all sin and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23

Think about this…we are not born rebellious and resentful beings although we have the propensity to develop these spiritual defects. A child doesn’t begin to rebellion against or resent his parents fresh out of the womb. Something in the baby’s lifespan had to happen that caused the child to become rebellious or resentful and usually it is because of abuse whether in childhood or adulthood. No one is exempt from being fertile ground for these demonic seeds of rebellion and resentment that sprout up because of abuses.

If you have been molested, raped or abused in any form and have not healed from such abuses and you have not forgiven those who have either abused you or did not protect you, your resentment will lead you to rebellion. Your rebellion will become your stronghold. This is the formula…hurt + resentment + hate=rebellion.

Your rebellion is a welcoming sign giving Satan the right of passage into your mind, heart and very soul. Once the seed of rebellion begins to sprout in the core of your being your spiritual DNA changes and strongholds become more prevalent. Demonic entry is inevitable and no matter how much you pray, read your Bible and try to live a Godly life, your strongholds will overrule God’s perfect plans he has for you. Are you sick and tired of Satan and his war against you and your mind through rebellion and resentment? If you have been reading my post, I believe the answer is yes. If so, you can be healed from your forefather’s sins to your current rebellion and resentful sins today. Strongholds are not ever broken by our own power, but by the awesome power of the Holy Spirit. Satan’s formula for your life can be broken and instead of hurt + resentment + hate=rebellion (bondage)  but with the power of the Holy Spirit it will be healing + forgiveness + love = freedom indeed.

Have you taken the time to speak with the Holy Spirit to see where you stand in character, in your healing journey and in your relationship to others? The Holy Spirit is important for every area of your life, because as you build your relationship with Him, you will obtain the power to break strongholds, you will be able to forgive and move on in your healing process. Your voice is needed to help others in the battle for healing but this cannot happen until you are empowered through the Holy Spirit. Continue to build your relationship with Him. The Holy Spirit will lead you into a life of abundance through healing. Start today.
